About Us

Since 1981, Heron Technology has offered a comprehensive signage service for its large and varied clientele, including corporate clients.

When we first started our business, Heron Technology was known as 'Signmasters' - a company with sign production at its core. As the company grew, we were able to expand our range of services by offering plastic and metal fabrication to our growing client base.

In 1990, Heron Technology expanded again to offer the latest in state-of-the-art laser cutting facilities and by 1995, we had four laser cutting machines, including the largest single custom-built cutting bed in Australia.

In the same year we added a water jet cutting machine to our growing repertoire of services, meaning proven accuracy for cutting ceramics, marble, granite and glass.

As time progressed, we placed ourselves as a one-stop shop almost exclusively for the wholesale signage and cutting market. This prevented any conflict of interest with our customers.

Now our services include laser cutting, waterjet cutting, signage production, metal and acrylic fabrication, spray painting, CAD/CAM developments and industry consultation.

Through our on-going commitment to new technology and a preference for Australian made, our company remains at the forefront of the signage and cutting industry.
